While assisting a driver maneuver out of her driveway, a woman sustained serious injuries to her lower body when she was pinned between her own parked vehicle and that of the defendant. The plaintiff had positioned herself at the rear of her carport, next to her vehicle, to direct the defendant in backing out of the driveway, when the driver suddenly accelerated towards the plaintiff. Quick action taken by family members saved the plaintiff from bleeding to death, but the crush injuries were so severe that the she later required full amputation of one leg and partial amputation of the other.

The DK team was tasked with accurately recreating the scene of the incident as well as the vehicles and individuals involved to show the nature of the collision. Through a combination of expert and witness reports, the DK team was able to accurately show the nature of the collision through animation.
