The Most Worthy Cause Award celebrates a case which not only touched our hearts but reignited our passion for what we do. The attorneys who take on cases such as these make a conscientious decision to walk the balance between being fierce and sensitive, simultaneously taking on the grievance of a family and the voice of the decedent. This year’s Most Worthy Cause Award is presented to attorneys Rahul Ravipudi and Robert Glassman of Panish Shea & Boyle LLP, whose talents gave their clients a small triumph in a time of great loss. The events surrounding the drowning of a young boy at a middle school pool party is one no one in our team will be able to forget. Our team applauds the manner in which the PSB attorneys handled the sensitivities of the matter and their efforts in not only obtaining an $11 million-dollar settlement but working with the local legislature to create a water safety bill in the child’s name.
