Graphic Designer / Visual Media Editor

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer and Visual Media Editor with advanced skills in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition to add to our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to bring ideas to life through visual communication. As a Graphic Designer and Visual Media Editor, you will work closely with our marketing and production team to create and edit compelling visual content that aligns with our brand and objectives. You will be responsible for designing and editing a wide range of materials, including digital graphics, print collateral, animations, and multimedia presentations.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with the Marketing, Sales, and Production Departments to create a wide range of materials that may include email templates, e-blasts, event announcements, social media posts, internal communications, and marketing materials
  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
  • Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
  • Create polished videos using Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Edit and enhance visual media content, including videos, animations, and photos.
  • Ensure visual media aligns with company’s quality standards, branding, and style guides.
  • Actively contributes to the development of fresh and innovative design concepts, pushing creative boundaries while aligning with the company's brand identity and objectives
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to ensure seamless coordination, efficient workflow, and timely delivery of each project
  • Manage project resources, including time and materials, to ensure that projects are completed within the allocated budget, while still delivering high-quality designs that meet company expectations
  • Effectively problem-solves by finding creative solutions that align with project requirements, while consistently meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Utilize the company's ERP system to communicate with team members, actively engage in discussions, give and receive feedback on projects, and implement feedback for timely completion of projects
  • Balance and anticipate all workflow challenges according to project deadlines, needs, and development.
  • Participate in collaboration sessions and meetings to advance the working projects toward desired outcomes.
  • Work closely with and support the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Sales Officer, and Project Managers on all aspects of project development.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline
  • Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
  • 5-7 years of experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organized, with great attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and storytelling skills, both written and verbal
  • Problem solver who offers solutions and has a positive attitude
  • Adaptability and ability to work independently, under pressure, and within tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and processes

Job Type: Full-Time (not a remote position)

Schedule: 40 hours per week.

Compensation: $26-35/hr. This position will be paid on an hourly basis and overtime will be compensated for accordingly.
