WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team with a shared vision of making a positive impact on the lives of those seeking justice. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, coupled with excellent time management abilities. This is an on-site position located at our headquarters in Redlands, CA.

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and play a pivotal role in managing and executing DK Global's day-to-day marketing initiatives. Additionally, you will contribute to the development, coordination, and implementation of marketing campaigns in alignment with the CMO's vision.

To thrive in this role, you should be adept at handling multiple tasks, even under tight deadlines, and be able to collaborate effectively with the marketing team to achieve our strategic marketing objectives. Having a basic understanding of social media marketing, copy editing, graphic design, and video editing is advantageous, as this knowledge will enable you to provide valuable feedback and support to the Marketing team in accomplishing our goals.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing various marketing activities. Your contributions will be vital in driving the success of our marketing initiatives.

  • Help in creating and managing long-term marketing plans, including advertising, public relations, and promotions.
  • Direct advertising and communication programs are designed to promote products or services.
  • Lead social media & community management.
    • Help develop DK Global’s online and offline social communities by maintaining promotional plans and online conversations.
    • Monitor the company’s online presence, including social media, email campaigns, mail merges, e-blasts, case features, and webinar participation, to ensure that all online presence remains in line with the company’s brand and identity. 
    • Assist with the production and distribution of multimedia content, including emails, podcasts, and direct mail.

 

  • Edit content produced by our copywriters for storytelling, grammar, and engagement.
  • Give creative feedback to video editors and graphic designers (in-house and freelance)
  • Maintain our content calendar.
  • Delegate tasks to our team of freelance creatives.
  • Build and schedule marketing emails and social media content.
  • Collaborate with the CMO and provide creative direction for one-off projects (e.g., banners, promotional materials, etc.)
  • Help manage the process of researching and calling prospective and existing clients, scheduling appointments, and assisting with relationship building.
  • Facilitate testimonial interviews with our clients.
    • Designed, implemented, and facilitated annual marketing plans for the company.
    • Support and facilitate the development and implementation of section business/marketing plans.
    • Translating business unit objectives and strategies to develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies, and plans to facilitate business unit growth.
    • Develop marketing strategy based on knowledge of established policy, nature of market, copyright and royalty requirements, and cost and markup factors.
    • Plan and administer the company’s Marketing Operation budget.
    • Support the development of regional marketing budgets.
  • Manage marketing suppliers.
    • Negotiate with media agents to secure agreements for the translation of materials into other media.
    • Edit materials according to specific market or customer requirements.
    • Develop promotional materials, including marketing collateral and print copies.
  • Maintain Excellence in Service by helping to Answer phone calls, screening callers, and directing them to the most appropriate team members.
  • Monitor industry trends and make forecasts on anticipated market sales.
  • Assist CMO with submitting reports of marketing and social media efforts and maintaining records.
  • Keep informed on organization contract procedures and product pricing.
  • Coordinate and/or oversee event management, including speaking engagements, educational events, and trade shows.
  • Assist CMO with marketing plan and budget.
  • Collaborate with company personnel to ensure prompt service to clients.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS in Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years in marketing, communications, or public relations.
  • 1-2 years’ experience with managing others.
  • Detail-orientated with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and engagement.
  • Knowledge of HTML and email marketing.
  • An ability to manage time and execute day-to-day tasks.
  • Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills.
  • Responds well under pressure with strict time limits.
  • Ability to think both creatively and analytically.
  • Quick and enthusiastic learner.
  • Experience with the legal industry a plus.
  • Knowledge of animations and illustrations a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

 

Schedule: 40 hours per week

 

Compensation Range: $28-33/hr. (We value our employees’ time and believe your time should be compensated accordingly. This position will be paid on an hourly basis with overtime as needed.)
