When a motorcyclist's collision with a drunk driver resulted in a below-the-knee amputation, one of the first steps taken by the attorneys representing him was to consult with the experts at DK Global.  The Defendant made a left turn into the motorcyclist, causing serious injuries. As a result of the collision, the Plaintiff needed surgery to repair a broken foot, as well as an amputation to the other leg.  A multi-media strategy was developed to accompany a demand letter to the insurance company for damages. 

The objective of the presentation was not only to show the specific injuries suffered by the motorcyclist, including extensive damage to his leg and multiple fractures, but to also demonstrate the nature of the extreme medical treatment required.  To effectively do this, DK Global produced a reenactment that presented the horrific nature of the collision, along with an animation to present complex medical details in an understandable manner.  By allowing DK Global to develop the visual presentation of the case in the early stages, the cost and time of trial, mediation, and further litigation were bypassed to reach a just and rapid settlement. Up against these irrefutable depictions, the defense quickly agreed to the five million dollar amount demanded.
