The Medical Illustrations below combine 3D elements, text labeling of all pertinent anatomical features, and surgical hardware, to display the intravitreal injection of medication to the eye. Furthermore, the illustrations demonstrate how particles of medication migrated into an unintended area of the eye, which blocked the flow of aqueous fluid, causing high intraocular pressure that damaged the optic nerve.
