Surgical procedures often involve complex and intricate details. The animation begins with the patient shown in the operating room. The focus then transitions to the right knee as a diagnostic arthroscopy is performed in a routine manner. An inferolateral portal is used as a viewing portal, and the superomedial portal is used for inflow.

The procedure confirmed that the patella was laterally dislocated, and tricompartmental synovitis was noted. Synovectomy was subsequently performed using a shaver. The medial and lateral menisci were intact, as was the anterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament. A grade 2 stellate chondral defect of the medial femoral condyle and an impact chondral defect of the medial tibial plateau were also noted during the arthroscopy. In full extension, these chondral defects aligned. Following the completion of the diagnostic arthroscopy procedure, the portals were closed with staples, and steroid injections were provided.

Mr. Beall successfully resolved this case, and his client was awarded $535,000 for damages to aid in the healing process.
