This month our team is announcing the winners of the 5th Annual Golden Advocate Awards. As I am sure you all know, the legal field can be a daunting and demanding place, and we are honored to have worked with some of the most fearless attorneys in the nation. Which makes giving the Golden Advocate Awards a celebration we excitedly anticipate each year.
In the summer of 2013, our team was looking through some of our earlier projects and reminiscing about the more memorable cases we had collaborated on. As we poured through animations and illustrations from the past, we began considering some of the circumstances and outcomes of the cases they were crafted for. It was at this time that the Award was created to recognize the attorneys who were successful in making progress both in and out of the courtroom.
Since its conception in 2013, the Golden Advocate has blossomed into a prestigious award. With the boom of the award, came an identity. We carefully designed the trademark gold lettering that would contrast the obsidian background of the plaques; offering an eye-catching award that would make even the most solemn attorney proud to boast about.
The Golden Advocate Award can be seen hanging in many law offices throughout the United States. Should you find yourself in the Los Angeles office of Panish Shea & Boyle, or in the beach bureau of Bisnar Chase, you will certainly see one of our awards glistening on the wall before you. A gleaming reminder of the steadfast dedication the awarded attorney and firm have made on behalf of their clients.
The Golden Advocate Award has become a respected honor amongst the legal community because of the care our team takes to review nominees and award recipients. It is not enough that a substantial monetary figure is won; our nominees must make efforts that transcend the legal field. Meaning, our winners are acting as more than just a service for their clients, they are acting as advocates for justice and change in their community.
Perhaps this is linked to why the award is so well received. Our award recognizes the noble nature of attorneys, their demanding work, and the inspiration they spark within others. This is why the award itself was handcrafted to have such a timeless aesthetic because the people it is recognizing are making victories with enduring outcomes.
Though it was our intention to have the Golden Advocate Award evolve into a recognized honor that identifies those attorneys and firms who go above and beyond in the field of law, we quickly found that the act of recognizing others has been nothing short of an honor itself. So, we hope that upon receiving the award, our recipients take a moment to remember the difference they have made in 2017 and become inspired to continue acting as an advocate for justice well into 2018 and beyond.
